Percept bags 4 Trophies at the ‘BW Applause Conclave & Awards 2017’

Percept won top honors with 4 Awards at the esteemed BW Applause Conclave & Awards 2017 held on 6th October 2017 at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai. With 2 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze spanning the Live Events and ICE domain, it was a triumphant victory for the Percept Group at the 2017 Edition of the BW Applause Awards. 

The Exchange4Media BW APPLAUSE Awards was instituted to recognize and honor the quality work executed by experiential agencies in the events and experiential marketing domain. The awards night offers a platform for recognizing high standards, innovation, creativity and exemplary event marketing projects executed by agencies. Powerful knowledge sharing sessions and thought-provoking discussions relevant to the event ecosystem at the Conclave earlier in the day made way for an evening of networking and celebrating outstanding event marketing milestones.
Percept Live walked away with 2 BW APPLAUSE awards including 1 Gold and 1 Silver. Sunburn, Asia’s biggest and most popular Dance Music Festival kept its winning streak bagging Gold in the ‘Best Music Event of the Year’ for Sunburn 10. It was the only award given in this particular category re-endorsing the unique and larger than life stature of Brand Sunburn in the Live Events space in Asia. Percept Live also won a Silver in the ‘Best Social Media Amplification’ category for Sunburn’s Digital initiatives and reach.  
Said Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn, “Sunburn 10 was really special for us given the move from Goa after 9 years since inception. A lot of effort went in to making the event a success right from selection of the new venue to giving Sunburn fans a curated experience. Not only was it a first for us with the venue, this was the first year that we introduced 31st December as a part of the four day celebration. We had one of the best artist line ups that the country has witnessed and were overwhelmed by the response we received from our fans. We’re happy that the efforts were recognized by BW APPLAUSE committee and are delighted to have received Gold in the Best Music category and a Silver in the ‘Best Social Media Amplification’ genre. We have aggressive plans for this year and some big announcements lined up.”
Percept ICE bagged 2 BW APPLAUSE Awards including a Gold award in the ‘Best Social Event’ category for the ‘Essel Group 90 Years Celebrations’ commemorating the Essel Group’s achievement of crossing the 90 year milestone across 6 generations. The Bronze Trophy was won in the ‘Best Consumer Activation’ category for the ‘Bajaj Electricals- Activation’ that successfully reached out to its target audience via an innovative and eye-catching on-ground activation program.
