India, 15 June 2020 – Percept Live, creators of Sunburn, Asia’s biggest electronic dance music festival, launched ‘Sunburn Campus Chatbox’, an engaging digital Live Chat format which enables the Youth across India to tune into an interactive, fun, entertaining Q&A dialogue between their favorite Artists and the Artist Manager via the Sunburn Campus platform on Instagram. The launch program on 11 June 2020 saw the popular Electronic Music duo ‘Progressive Brothers’ interact with their Manager Vidur Agarwal for an hour long session which saw many interesting anecdotes, stage experiences and inspiring messages shared with their young listeners and fans.

Sunburn Campus is the popular College variant of the Sunburn festival, featuring top of the charts International and Domestic Artists. The on-ground Sunburn Campus format has visited and wowed almost every College Campus across India over the past 6 years and is a much sought after ‘Must-Attend’ aspirational event by every college trotting youngster today.

The newly launched ‘Sunburn Campus Chatbox’ will be held once every week on Thursdays from 7.00 PM onwards and feature many popular Artists in a relaxed entertaining chat on their Music experiences, the many highs and tribulations faced in their career, with a dash of Rapid Fire questions and fun challenges posed by the manager to the artists. The very first show saw thousands of College students pan India, Sunburn fans and the fan following of the popular Progressive Brothers duo tune in from all over the country to listen to their favourite artists. Upcoming Sunburn Campus Chatbox sessions are scheduled to feature popular Music artists including Teri Miko, Julia and many more in a freewheeling chat with their respective Managers.

The ‘Sunburn Campus Chatbox’ comes close on the heels of the newly launched ‘Sunburn@Home’ Intellectual Property which kept fans and audiences engaged during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic lockdown since 22 March 2020. The successful Live Stream entertainment variant saw the best DJs around the world unite on the Sunburn@Home platform with an aim to entertain, network with their fans, uplift their spirit in the comfort of their homes and encourage the Social Distancing rules.

Karan Singh, COO, Percept Live said, “The youth of today live and breathe both technology and diverse sources of vibrant entertainment. They admire, follow and emulate successful contemporary Music Artists who have made their mark in the entertainment world though sheer talent and perseverance. Given the massive Sunburn Youth following, current Social Distancing guidelines and the successful roll out of the Sunburn@Home Live Stream initiative, the birth of ‘Sunburn Campus Chatbox’ was a natural evolution in our endeavour to communicate with millions of our Sunburn Campus fans. This entertaining platform will not only give the Youth a deeper insight into the lives of their fave artists but also offer many invaluable lessons via real life stories of the many challenges faced, opportunities grasped and hurdles surmounted by these artists to reach the pinnacle of success. We hope the Live Chat serves as a platform of inspiration for the Youth during these turbulent times.”

Said Progressive Brothers after participating in the launch show, “Sunburn Campus Chatbox was an absolute blast with our Manager Vidur. We have been working on our upcoming music since the past 3 months and through Sunburn Campus ChatBox we were able to spill some beans to everyone out there. We miss performing live at campuses, especially Sunburn Campuses... hopefully the situation will improve soon and we will be able to entertain our campus fans once again.”

Said Vidur Agarwal, Manager – Progressive Brothers, “I loved hosting the first session of Sunburn Campus Chatbox with my buddies, mentor, artists – Progressive Brothers. It was great fun having a candid one-on-one chat with them and more importantly seeing them after almost 3 months. Thanks to the amazing team of Sunburn and Percept for inviting and hosting us.”
