Percept conceptualizes a sensational Private Wedding Affair in Chennai

Percept bagged the prestigious mandate of conceptualizing, managing and executing an extravagant Private Wedding affair which was held for 4 days from 1st August 2018 to 4th August 2018 in Chennai. The wedding reception along with all the other formalities, ceremonies and celebrations witnessed an elite attendance of over 2,000 guests.  

The wedding was attended by the Who’s Who of the city including leading names like Ms Shazia Ilmi, Mr. Shah Nawaz Hussain (BJP Spokesperson), and Mr. Suresh Parbhu (Commerce Industries Cabinet Minister) who showered their blessings on the couple with their esteemed presence. 
The first day kick-started with a glam-sham revelry which saw close relatives and friends at the Bride and Groom’s respective residences, followed by the Mehendi ceremony, Nikaah at Anjuman e Himayat and Reception Dinner titled as ‘Valima’ at the ITC Grand Chola. 
Being a Muslim wedding, the choice of décor for each event was very carefully planned and every intricate detail was kept in mind given the cultural sanctity and progressive nature of the guest list attending. It was an interesting wedding to be handled by Percept given the fact that the Bride’s ceremonies were managed by Percept Activ and the Groom’s ceremonies were handled by Percept ICE. 
Percept's scope of work included the  conceptualization and planning of the entire wedding , co-ordination and managing the overall wedding inclusive of invitations, gifting and merchandizing at each event, décor and setup supervision, menu design and execution, logistics, co-ordination with over 25 artists, Mixologists and flair bar tenders, Nitro Duo and international symphony for the entry of the Bride and Groom.

Commenting on managing the Bride’s part of ceremony, Sameer Sethi, South Head - Experiential Marketing, Percept Activ, “We have worked very closely with the family in the past when we managed their first daughter’s wedding end to end, hence we were honoured when they approached us for the second daughter’s wedding. It was a challenge to make it bigger and better than the last time but we manage to pull it off with great success and the client was extremely happy with the outcome.”
