28 August, 2026

Percept ICE, the Experiential Marketing, Event Management, Exhibitions & Brand Activations domain company of Percept Limited, has been honoured with the EEMAX Global Bronze Award under Government Events > Government Event of the Year – category below 5,000 Pax for Closing Ceremony & IFFIESTA 2025 of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

This esteemed recognition celebrates Percept ICE’s expertise in translating a prestigious government mandate into a high-impact, broadcast-ready live experience, combining creative storytelling, cultural representation, production precision and seamless on-ground execution.

Held on 28 November 2025 at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Taleigao, Goa, the IFFI Closing Ceremony brought together cinema, culture and entertainment in a spectacular, carefully choreographed finale. Percept ICE was responsible for the event conceptualisation, management and end-to-end execution, creating an immersive environment anchored by a dynamic stage that was inspired by the festival theme and transformed into a striking multi-level palace structure, which served as the centrepiece for the performances and set the visual tone for the evening.

The ceremony featured a stellar line-up of cinematic and cultural personalities, with mega movie icon Shri Rajinikanth felicitated on stage for his 50-year contribution to Indian cinema, coinciding with the Golden Jubilee celebration of the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). The evening also featured an interaction between acclaimed actor Rishab Shetty and the folk art of Karnataka, Yakshagana, while legendary film and media personalities including Ramesh Sippy, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, G. V. Prakash and Abhay Sinha were felicitated on stage. Interactions with Jury Chairperson Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Festival Director Shekhar Kapur added further gravitas to the evening.

The programme also seamlessly integrated major film and OTT properties, including the song launch of the blockbuster Dhurandhar by Ranveer Singh, the trailer launch of the Netflix series Maamla Legal Hai featuring Ravi Kishan, Kusha Kapila, Anjum Batra, Rahul Pandey and Sameer Saxena, and the trailer launch of Akhri Sawaal featuring Nikhil Nanda, Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Tridha Chaudhary and Abhijit Waran.

Complementing the cinematic spectacle was a richly curated cultural programme celebrating India's diverse artistic traditions. The Samandar Khan Manganiyar troupe performed within the multi-level palace setting, while the North East ensemble presented a tribute commemorating the centenary of maestro Bhupen Hazarika. A performance by Grammy-nominated Acyuta Gopi further added musical depth and artistic authenticity to the evening.

During the 56th IFFI that spanned from 20th to 28th November, the vibrant cultural heartbeat of IFFI – ‘IFFIESTA 2025’ unfolded over four evenings from November 21–24, 2025, at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, and was designed as an open, inclusive celebration of India’s concert economy. Percept ICE delivered complete end-to-end event management, spanning concept, design, stage architecture, technical production, artist management, choreography and show flow, ensuring each evening was visually rich, emotionally engaging and produced for live broadcast.

IFFIESTA 2025 featured a compelling constellation of artists and storytellers across its four days. Distinguished guests including Shri Anupam Kher, Oscar-winning composer Shri M.M. Keeravani, National Award-winning actor Aimee Baruah, Ravi Kottarakara, South Korean MP-singer Jaewon Kim and Shri K. Satish Nambudiripad, Director General, Doordarshan, marked the festival’s opening, underscoring its national and international significance.

The live programming traversed genres and geographies, from Osho Jain’s evocative opening performance and the Suron Ka Eklavya showcases led by Pratibha Singh Baghel, to folk-fusion and Sufi-Bhakti segments featuring Vusat (Iqbal Khan). High-energy Battle of Bands evenings brought together Indian and international acts including The Bandits, Beats of Love, MH43, The Swastik, The Vairagis and Knights, while narrative-led folk and cinema-infused performances featured Raza Murad, Ather Habib, Kirti Nagpure, Dinesh Vaidya, Milan Singh and Aditi Shastri.
