Sunburn officially unveiled its venue at Candolim beach on Sunday

The venue was unveiled by Mr. Harindra Singh, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Percept Limited and Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited, accompanied by MLA Agnel Fernandes and Mr. Devraj Sanyal, Group CEO, Percept Sports & Entertainment - the organizer of the Sunburn Goa 2010. Mr. Singh walked the guests through the venue, highlighting its many new features including a world class security arrangement spanning - 32 CCTV cameras; a two level manned security, sniffer dogs, narcotic patrol officers, an emergency medical team equipped with a mini clinic, an on-site medical team, several medical consultants, 6 emergency exits & 4 watch towers. The event will also have an on-call, a first of its kind Disaster Management Team in case of an emergency. he day also saw the launch of the official Sunburn Merchandise comprising of a range of apparel, accessories & gadgets. The Sunburn merchandise is Percept's first foray into expanding the brand Sunburn into the lifestyle & retail space. The merchandise range includes t-shirts, towels, flip flops, key chains, mobile covers, pens, buttons (badges), bags, caps, mobile chargers, laser glasses and rings. The merchandise, which was officially launched by Mr. Singh amidst a number of local MLA's and top models from Goa , will be available at the Sunburn 2010 festival and at an online store. 

Commenting on the unveiling of the Sunburn venue & merchandise, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited said, "The Sunburn festival has become one of the largest international music festivals, ranked by CNN as one of the ‘Top 10 Festivals in the World'. The response we have received both from Indian and international audiences over the past 3 years has been amazing. Apart from the music, Sunburn has been appreciated as an experience complete with the beach, electronic dance music,and some great parties. The new venue & the Sunburn merchandise is our endeavour to create a more immersive experience for Sunburners." On the elaborate security arrangements this year, Singh said, "With several thousand people expected at Sunburn Goa 2010, the Sunburn team in collaboration with the Goan Police, took all the necessary steps to ensure that you had a safe and secure time at the festival and leave the state, refreshed with great memories." Sunburn is a 3-Day Electronic Dance Music Festival held in Goa, India.
