Percept Picture Celebrates Anniversary with great Fun and Fanfare 21 December, 2009

Percept Picture Company the providers of successful films like Malamaal Weekly, Hanuman, Page 3 amongst others. PPC celebrated its anniversary at Three Flights Up and Diva, with a special evening with lots of fun, cocktails and prizes to celebrate their journey. It was followed by the Launch of an innovative promotional gig called the “Hangover Nites” for PPC’s forthcoming film “Raat Gayi Baat Gayi”, which includes the ravishing Neha Dhupia, Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak , Iravati Harshe, Anuradha Mennon. The wonderful evening was compered by the ace actor & comedian Suresh Menon. Shailendra Singh Jt. MD Percept Limited says, “We at PPC are extremely thrilled in completing 44 films in a short span time. We have achieved various milestones during this journey and cherished them. There was much learning as we experienced various genres of cinema both creatively and commercially. I would like to thank each one who stood by us and supported us in our highs and lows. We are looking forward for an exciting & successful 2010.” PPC has won many accolades in their journey nationally and internationally. It has recently bagged the National Award for their critically acclaimed film "Kanchivaram", while their movie Firaaq has won 14 awards across the globe. PPC’s Hanuman and Return Of Hanuman is considered as a torch bearer of the Indian animation industry and has win 5 awards including the best animated feature film and the best animated background score at FICCI BAF awards and Golden Cursor awards. It now features on POGO as The New Adventures of Hanuman. PPC has associated with different producers and productions houses across the globe. They were the first one to release the Pakistani Film “Khuda Kay Liye”, Produced and Directed by Shoaib Mansoor, a film about Muslims in a post-9/11 world making it the first ever Pakistani film to be released in Indian theaters. PPC has associated with various Hollywood studios for their film distribution in India. To name a few Universal Pictures for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Sony pictures Entertainment for the blockbuster ‘Spiderman 3’ and ‘Rush Hour 3’.
