Percept launches ‘Windsong Music Festival’ to promote Alternate, Original Indian Live Music

A forerunner in the evolution of the Indian Music Festival scenario Percept’s latest offering Windsong in association with Yellow Festivals Pvt Ltd, is aimed to support & grow the Indian Live Music Scene, Indian Bands & Indian Talent.
 
Windsong will bring to you the finest and most renowned artists from the world of alternate and independent music such as Lucky Ali, Rabbi, Strings, Ankur Tewari, Anushka Manchanda (Shkabang), Soulmate, Mohan Kannan (Agnee), Monica Dogra (Shaa’ir n Func), The Ska Vengers and Papon amongst many others. The two day festival will be held on December 24th and 25th, 2012 on the pristine beaches of Baga, Goa.
 
22 Indian Bands, 2 Stages, 2 days – an alternate live world music categorized into Plugged and Unplugged. Music lovers will witness a plethora of Folk, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues and Soul music all at one festival. The festival begins at 2 pm and promises to offer an experience that will leave music lovers craving for more. The highlight of this festival is a road trip to Goa that will begin its trail from Mumbai and goes through Pune to Goa making the festival all the more enthralling and special.
 
The festival not only offers the best of what Indian sounds and talent have to showcase but also state of the art technology & effects that makes it a visual delight par excellence. The whole idea is to create a platform to showcase the outstanding talent and attract multiple audiences. It promises to be a visual treat, and expects to see music lovers from around the country for an ultimate music experience like never before.
