MAGIC MUSICAL MADNESS
24 December, 2012

And they saved the best for last! At 8:00pm, at the Windsong Music Festival, live music fans went mad. They didn’t know which stage they should be at. Pakistani superstars, Strings, were playing on the Plugged in stage, but Elvis Lobo, Goan guitarist with a heart full of music, was playing on the unplugged stage. When it was time for Remo to perform, on the other side of the venue, what could be India’s favorite live band were tuning their guitars. There was no doubt about it, Agnee was the clear favorite of the night. Starting their awesome set with a awe inspiring Shiv Shloka, they rocked a mix of different sounds and genres that had everyone smiling, raising their hands in the air and singing along.

What a show. What a show! India has never seen to many Indian performers all in one place, playing their hearts out to tireless fans. And under the Goan moon! Just after their gig, backstage, while the crowd still screamed for more, Koko and Mohan, who front Agnee, had this to say Shailendra Singh, Jt Managing Director of Percept, – “Whoever did not turn up for this first day, in the first ever edition of Windsong, is a loser. We have never played on a better stage, in such a spectacular setting, to such a loving crowd.”

They had this to add, “Shailendra, you better invite us for the next Windsong. This is where we, and all the other amazing Indian talent, belong. This is what it is all about.”

But, good news, folks – it’s not over yet! Tomorrow, the gates open at 3:00pm and the line-up is. . . s.p.e.c.t.a.c.u.l.a.r!aa
