Percept ICE, the Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions and Events Domain Company of Percept Limited, successfully executed the Vodafone India Sustainability Report Launch held at The Oberoi, Delhi on 24th September 2014.
Vodafone India Wednesday released its fourth annual sustainability report, highlighting its social initiatives in making some of its base stations 'Green', in educating children and the girl child. In the last two decades, mobiles have truly transformed the way people engage and interact. Importantly, the social development sector has also significantly benefited from advances in both mobile reach and technology,” The report is called "Footprints IV-Steps Today for a Better Tomorrow".
Mr. Vittorio Colao (Vodafone Group CEO) & Mr.Marten Pieters (MD & CEO Vodafone India) were the Chief Guest.
The Vodafone India Sustainability Report Launch objective is to showcase that Vodafone is moving towards becoming a technological and digitally driven brand under the overview of becoming sustainable. Vodafone’s ambition is to contribute to sustainable living by delivering connectivity and innovative services to our 434 million customers – 70% of whom live in emerging markets. Vodafone’s annual Sustainability Report considers the full range of material economic, environmental and social impacts of their business and explores the way in which their technology is contributing to sustainable living...
The report was released by Mr. Vittorio Colao and Mr. Marten Pieters via IPAD’s. The customised AV showcased the cover report animation simultaneously. The report was immediately activated on all the IPAD’s placed on stands in venue for media to go through the same.
Vodafone donated amount of 12million towards Educate Girls. A customised AV showcasing the transfer of money from the Vodafone Foundation to Educate Girls. The cheque was collected by Safeena Husain – CEO Educate Girls.
According to the brief given to Percept Ice the theme translation and tone of the event was in the colors of Green and white to bring out the sustainability and eco friendly objective. Keeping the sustainability theme in mind, even the Creatives were printed on Canvas instead of flex.
Taking the Sustainability theme forward, the registrations were done digitally on IPADS. The press kit was in form of customised pen-drives carrying the press releases, highlights of reports etc. Media were asked to write their pledge regarding sustainability & have handprints in green & white.
The event also saw live performance by students from EDUCATE GIRLS. The event concluded by moderated Q & A followed by Lunch.
